FS: 10g steel skid plate

It almost looks like you could run it with out spacers? I think if you were to trim the spacers down it should be a lot better. You can try stacking washers to see how much of a spacer you need.Then If you can get your hands on a grinder just trim down to that size. Or if you give me the size i can ship you some
Its not a spacer issue, its the fact thats its way more plate than needed. For this skid to work i would need to cut off the upper section and so on... It needs to be the same size or go to the same point as the original engine plate. The thing of it is I like other members put so much money into are trucks I am not going to settle for scabbed together look in the end! Its cutting this thing down witch i am not happy to do or you build one that works for me and the others that have aftermarket bumpers... Not trying to sound like a dick just frustrated

 

So I did more research on these skids... I see the after market oem skid you built this on. For some reason I thought it was the engine guard that was being repalced! This is what I was thinking and this is what I need. You might in the future tell others that if they have or plan on changing your bumper than this product will not work... Got any return policy?

 

I had the same issue with mine. I had to sand the edges down to bare metal and use a bed-liner spray. I found that the rustoleum brand bed-liner is pretty much an exact match to the powder coat. havn't had an issue since.

This thing really works BTW... I was barreling through bushes and trees all weekend, and this thing just folded them down like it was mowing the lawn. Definitely stands up to good abuse
