    I picked up a skid plate from Matt last night. Could not wait to get it on the truck this morning.

    The gray color is a very close match to Silver Streak Mica. It was a toss-up for me to decide whether to go with black or gray. I am planning to go with black grillcraft and color matched grill in the future.

    I added a bit of weather stripping under the front lip of the skid plate to prevent any rubbing or rattling against the bumper valence. The skid plate is very solid- this step may not have been necessary.

    The powder coating is nice and thick- I think it will stand up to quite a bit of abuse.

    Matt is awesome- he has a nice solid product.

    I could see him fabricating the Transfer Case Cover and Gas Tank Skid in the future. Let's give him lots of encouragement!

    I have my gray used skid plate that i used pretty much just for pictures, has no scratches. I can let it go for 180$ plus shipping if anyone is interested.

    So I received my skid about a week ago. Unfortunately, Fedex seems to have had one hell of a time getting my package to me. There was an enormous hole in the box and bloody fingerprints covering the sides. Not too sure what happened but didnt look like a smooth trip. I didnt realize until I went to install it that the hardware had fallen out of the box. Matt has been very helpful and already sent me a new set of hardware. I should have it any day now.

    Despite the mishap, the skid looks solid. This thing looks like a good quality part well worth the $220. If I manage to bend it, I think that I will be replacing quite a bit more than a skid. The powder coat is thick and has a sick texture to it. It reminds me of bed liner. Very stout. I am very happy with it thus far and I cant wait to get my hardware. In the mean time I had the gf paint the TRD red to match my truck a bit more. I will get some installed photos as soon as I can.
