    Noticed on the website it says it mounts directly over the factory skid...if we don't have a factory skid will it still mount up fine?

    Better question is, what happened to your factory skid? Otherwise I'm sure you can find a used one for free or very cheap.

    Yeah there's that basic black piece of sheet metal they call a skid plate that comes on all 2nd Gen Tacos unless otherwise removed. You're welcome!

    It's been replaced with BPF stamping. Apparently never to return :pout:
