    I'm not sure if Avid changed their design but it has been hit or miss. Some people were able to make them work without an issue and other people had to grind down the edges. Maybe someone with both installed will chine in.

    If there is a demand for them, we could do a batch again.

    Hey guys.. I had a question about my skid plate. I installed it, and i installed it over the factory plate that sits underneath it. And it seems like the spacer that fits between the skidplate and front bolts is too large and is causing the skidplate to stick out too much. Doesnt sit very flush as compared to my old one. I was curious if i installed it incorrectly or if anybody else was having a similiar situation?

    Also just curious about this since here in Ohio we have heavily salted roads in the winter, does that effect the powder coating?

    **D I S C L A I M E R: If you live in an area with harsh weather conditions (i.e. extreme winters, heavily salted/gravel roads), you may want to consider buying the skid plate un-powder coated and having a LINE-Xcoat sprayed on.
