Man I missed a whole page of comments.

We really only offer that if there is a long lead time. Although will be having a sale very very soon.

Any paint will work, rattle can is nice because you can just touch it up when need be.

This is what i figured they were for, i was considering just using the spacer and no washers but didnt want the skid to be too close to the bumper and chance rubbing.

Ill get some better photos with my camera someday.

    question regarding the tow hook..
mentions on web site "Utilizes factory hardware" so I used the existing bolts..

So what does this mean?? Off Road versions will need M12x1.25x40mm Bolts.

just finished installing the skid plate and its almost a stealth install. barely visible at all.

has anyone discarded the original splash tray or whatever it is an just installed the skid plate.
I know it would have been much easier to install without the tray since teh hard part was lining up the holes in the plate with the holes in the frame. i will probably replace the rear oem bolt/screws with real bolts since they are really quite short.

Only the off road versions require different hardware, as the bolts are longer then the Sport/SR5's due to the factory hook.

The skid plate works with or without the factory skid pate.

I will look into making an extended skid plate, but it might take a couple months as I have a couple projects currently on the go.

Anyone had problems with the passenger side bolt? I pulled the factory skid and tried to screw it in by itself because I was having no luck and it won't go in the HOLE!!, the driver side works fine. I use the OEM bolt and it was all good.

    **update**

    motherf@#$ing son of @#$@# piece of @#$@# @#$hole !@#$.

So the nut was welded a bit wrong so have to angle the bolt a certain way to get it in the hole (maybe she says that every now and then)...anywho I got the skid plate on. Pictures to follow soon.

How do the threads look on the bolt? do they match up with other one? The bolts aren't tapered like the OEM ones you need to racket them in almost right away. Shoot me an email if your having further issues bpfabricating@gmail.com. The bolts are M8-60 incase it needs to be replaced.

So the threads matched for the most part, maybe a little off from each other, but the main problem was the nut was welded where there was a bit of a shift, the tapered bolt had no problem going in cause it acts as a sort of a guide, but the ones you supplied, I had to apply some swearing and force it in there then ratchet it. One bolt worked better than the other, but they both ended up working just fine, needless to say its mounted, my bully aka sissy bar has been retired, and I will post pics in the next free.

Oh and I banged the shit out of my forehead with the skid plate gave way the first time due to me not realizing the bolt wasn't lined up...I scared the crap out of a lady walking by when she heard a series of swear words chained together.
