All the liner trimming i did was in front of the wheel. If you're going with an aftermarket bumper i believe you're most likely going to be cutting off the liner anyways so it doesn't hang lower than the bumper and become an eye sore, that's the route i would go.

    Hello hello.

Anyone running 33" skinny tires on the 16x8 -25 on a second gen? Unless I missed it, I don't think I've come across any. I have these on my 1st Gen, but plan on selling it as I just bought a 2011. I would rather not sell the 1st with the Five Stars and use them on the 2nd. I'm interested in trying 255/80/16 this time around. I plan on doing the Toytec Boss lift as well.

Peace and love, peace and love.

I'm running 265/75/16 Toyo AT2's on the 1st Gen. With an OME lift.

I'd like to try the Cooper ST Maxx 255/85/16 with the Five Stars on the 2nd gen. I'm curious as too how much they stick out and how much cutting and trimming needs to be done.

Dustin lived up to his postive reputation and out of his way to get me into the FN family! And what a beauty they are. Pictures just dont do justices on how beatiful they are and the matte finish is superb. I know im gpong to enjoy this for a long time. He also has TRD caps for sale so I purchased them along with black chrome lugs. Definitely made my life easier! I am very excited and cant wait for these babies to be mounted. Thank you again Dustin!!

Sorry for the horrible pictures. But will have better updated pictures shortly.

Ok. so I went to Cleghorn with few TW members and took some pictures.

    FN Five 16x8 0" offset
    Factory TRD Offroad lift
    265/70/16 BF Goodrich Rugged trail

It held up great and no rubbing at all.

I notice truck gained great amount of pick up speed from off the line/FWY merge speed due to how light the wheels are compared to the stock.
shifting point also got faster and truck runs on lower RPM saving gas!!

I am going to upgrade tires soon to Falken Wild Peak A/T3 265/75/16 and will keep you all updated.

Total Chaos UCAs, FN Five Star wheels 17x8.5 with -6 offset, BFG AT KO2 LT275/70R17, Icon 1.5-2 inch AAL, diff drop kit by Toytec, Columbia Overland dual battery setup, IBS battery regulating system with Blue Sea systems fuse block, Weathertech Mats, Skanda seat covers, SnugTop Rebel truck cap w/ Yakima gear racks
I am on Fox 2.5 coilovers with remote res & Total Chaos UCAs in front and an Icon AAL & fox 2.5 shocks in the rear. Because of the different backspacing compared to OEM and wheel width increase I needed a CMC to fix rubbing in reverse and at full lock.

Just bought a set of the 5 star wheels. The guy I spoke with, Dustin, was probably one of the best customer service individuals I've ever delt with. Very knowledgable about the product and easy to talk to. Too bad they dont sell everything we need for tacos. I would just deal with this company for everything.

I would love to see a comparison of a silver 2nd gen with the matte black and the bronze. Can't make up my mind
