I know it... I guess I want to see something in person and have time to go home and think about it to make the final call.

How well does the thing daily? Does it have A/C? I realize that's not a problem for many but after driving a truck through the summer that had none I decided it's something I wanted. :bananadead:

I just spent some serious coin to swap the detroit lockers for ARBs to make it what I consider a better daily driver($2500 in parts and $600 in labor). It has A/C, the heater works, power windows and door locks, double din stereo... everything works. It easily cruises 75 on the highway and is capable of more if you put your foot into it.

I had intentions of adding hydro-steer, but now that I've decided to get rid of it I'll let someone else do it. It will get rid of any play and shimmy in the steering wheel(better than a steering stabilizer), and help turn aired down 37s on slickrock. You can drill and tap your own steering box easily, and get the ram and lines in a $250 trail gear kit. It still drives fine without it, but it would be super nice to have.

It has a beefy square front driveshaft, so above 25 mph it vibrates like all square driveshafts. If you want to use 4wd on the highway(winter driving?), you can have a long travel round driveshaft made for about $300.

In my opinion adding the hydro-assist, a round front driveshaft, and selectable lockers(done!), this would be the most comfortable solid axle daily driver you could build.
