    came off of a 96!

    no clue... came off a truck that has been sitting for a long time.

    and whats a lockout?

    Well, if its a manual hub, which it looks like it is, then the lockout is the Aisin or Warn locking thing on the other side. It would bolt to those tinier bolts on the side of the hub, inside of the regular lug bolts. If you don't see it, then it probably isn't there. A pic of the other side would tell me all I need to know.
