with all that mud on it I'm going to assume he just got done wheeling. Why wouldn't they be tightened? Figured the fitment was off.

They are a factory fit, even with a diff drop.

Agreed. You can see threads but I'm not sure why he didn't tighten it down. The skid fits tight to the frame. Of the 50+ skids of this design I have shipped, I haven't had anyone tell me otherwise.

Slapped the auto, plain version into my frame today to see how it looks. Very stout, even being the thinner version. Here are a couple pics. Very nice product.

The 3" Lift and 1" drop are no problem. As for fitting with the bumper, honestly I'm not sure.:sorry:. Maybe someone else one here has tried mounting theirs with an ARB bumper??

Does the stock skid fit now? If so, 99% my skid will fit too.

If you decide you want to order one, just email me 22rethan@gmail.com and I will send you a PayPal invoice. Be sure to let me know:
    1. What thickness skid you want (7ga .188" or 10ga .135")
    2. What cuttout you want (TOYOTA, TACOMA, TRD, 4RUNNER, or Solid)
    3. What type of transmission you have (auto or manual)

Good news. The next batch of skids have been cut and should be ready to ship out end of the week or Monday next week. Thanks to everyone who ordered one!... and for anyone who hasn't but may be interested, I only made one of each option (thickness/cuttout/transmission combination) so get your order in before the one you want is gone! :D

My skid came today. It was on the truck within 30 minutes of the UPS guy leaving! I did have an issue with fitment, had to put 1/2" spacers on the rear bolts in order to clear the diff. I do have a diff drop but didn't think it was going to be a problem. My frame was just replaced so maybe they redesigned the radiator mounting point?

I have a diff drop and my skid bolted on without using the skid spacers that came with my diff drop.

That's what I was counting on but it didn't work out. It fits fine with the skid spacers though so I'm not all that disappointed. I figure it just might bend easier as its not flush against the cross member as it would be without the skid spacers.
