Here's a extremely clean, meticulously maintained, and very well built solid axle swap Tacoma. I have owned it for about three years, the initial solid axle conversion was done by the previous owner who was a Toyota mechanic and a welder. Since then I have put a ton of time and money into it. In the time I've owned it, I have pretty much had everything apart and rebuilt in the axles and transfer cases, and most of the truck was built by me. This truck is a reliable daily driver, I just put 2000 miles on it going to EJS and back, it'll run 75mph down the highway all day.

I have receipts and part numbers for pretty much everything in the truck, so you don't have to waste all the time tracking down parts next time they need replaced. Anyone who has had to do this knows how frustrating it is. I always stay on top of maintenance, and when something needs fixed, it gets fixed right, not just hacked together. It's one of the cleanest Tacoma's around as evidenced by the pictures. It really turns heads, I'll be sad to see it go, but I'm going to start saving for a buggy. If you're looking for a reliable, turn key rig, then you're looking in the right place. Everything is built very evenly, it flexes amazingly and will crawl anything, the truck simply works and is a Jeep Killer. I could ramble on about the quality of the build and how great of a truck it is, but pictures are worth 1000 words, so I'll let them do the talking.

    SAS
    - Sky Manufacturing SAS Kit
    - Bilstein 5150 14" Travel Shocks
    - Approx. an 8" suspension lift
    - Frame plated with 3/8" steel from behind the shock hoops and wrapped completely around the front. Most SAS trucks only plate up tto the body mounts, this is way, way stronger.
    - Front bumper mounts plated and gusseted into the frame so the winch doesn't pull your bumper off

    Front Axle
    - Dana 44 out of an 86 Jeep Grand Wagoneer
    - Superior Chromoly Axles
    - 5.38 Gears
    - ARB Air Locker
    - Warn Hubs
    - GM 1 Ton Steering

    Rear Axle
    - Stock TRD Axle with E-Locker
    - 5.29 Gears
    - Third Member Completely Rebuilt 12,000 miles ago by Inchworm Gear. New R&P, bearings, seals, the works.
    - Solid Pinon Spacer

    Drivetrain
    - 5 Speed Manual Transmission
    - Inchworm Doubler with 4.7 Gears, Clocked 15 Degrees
    - Stock Chain Drive Case with 2.56 Gears
    - Twin Sticks
    - Bud Built Traction Bar (made it a whole new truck, zero axle wrap)
    - High Angle Front Driveline

    Engine
    - 127,XXX miles
    - 3.4L V6
    - TRD Supercharger
    - URD Additional Injector Controller and Timing Calibrator
    - Boost and AFR Guages
    - Optima Battery
    - Brand New Magnaflow Exhaust. Custom bent to be completely above the frame rails

    Wheels and Tires
    - 37x12.50.17 BFG KM2
    - Raceline Monster Beadlocks
    - 5,000 miles on the Wheels and Tires

    Armour
    - Badlands Front Bumper
    - WARN 9.5ti Winch with Synthetic Rope
    - Trail Gear Rear Bumper
    - Sliders
    - FROR bracket on the chain drive case (attached to frame rails)
    - 4xInnovations T-Case support on the doubler (attached to skid plate)
    - Custom T-Case Support and Skid Plate. It's a work of art, that the only way to put it. Extremely strong and low profile, only hangs 3.5" below frame rails. Not to mention the awesome paint job.

    XPEL Paint Protection Wrap
One of my favorite parts about the truck. Totally wrapped (except part of the roof) in the best vinyl film money can buy. It has a flat finish to it, and can even heal itself when you scratch through the brush. Scrape beside a bush, and go back a week later, and the pinstripes are gone, no lie. Here's their website: https://www.xpel.com/products/stealth_film.asp and be sure to note the price of the stuff, it isn't cheap. For a rock crawler, the body and paint on this truck is a 10/10. The factory paint job underneath is near perfect condition too. I get comments on how great the flat finish looks all the time.
