SOLD: 2007 Tacoma TRD Off Road DCSB San Diego $16k

Hello,

The time has come to sell my Radiant Red 2007 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road Pre Runner 4.0L V6 Double Cab Short Bed.

Mechanically there are no issues. Everything runs and drives as it should. I never thought I'd be selling it so I never kept my maintenance records, but everything has been kept up to date. Ever since the 1st oil change I've used Mobil 1 synthetic every 5 thousand miles. Differential fluid always changed every 30k also with synthetic oil. Spark Plugs changed with Toyota NGK plugs every 30k. Tranmission drained and filled every 60k with Toyota ATF fluid.
Past that I would tackle maintenance as it came up (ex: wheel bearings, brakes, u joints, etc...)
This truck has never once left me stranded on the road. Over its entire life I've never had a part failure, only time it has ever been in the shop was for routine maintenance.

The factory features are fully functional as well. The diff lock works perfectly, the over head temperature and compass, electric adjusting mirrors, windows, locks, tow hitch and wiring. (Wiring has been relocated under the bumper so it's out of harms way).

Shocks, struts and leaf springs are all from a 2017 Tacoma with less than 2,000 miles on them.

I have made some modifications as well:
Maxtrac lift spindles
Icon add a leaf
U bolt flip kit
17" XD Series 796 Revolver Wheels (5)
295/70R17 Toyo RT tires (installed January 2017)
Led light bar on the front bumper
Led pods on the base of the windshield (ditch lights)
Led pod in the bed
Front windows tinted 20%
Alpine head unit
JL speakers
2 Kicker comp cvr10 subwoofers behind the rear seats
Rockford Fosgate amplifier
Blacked out headlights
Wired the fog lights so they can be turned on anytime (rather than only with the low beams)
Magnaflow muffler with exhaust cut over the axle
K&N cold air intake (with CARB sticker)
Paint matched engine cover
Optima yellow top battery
Color matched grille
Blacked out emblems
Differential breather relocation
Extended stainless steel front and rear brake lines
EBC sport rotors and green pads (installed 12/16 with plenty of life left)


The bad:
Drivers seat is torn where the lumbar adjustment knob rubbed through the seat cover material. Wet Okole seat covers cover it.
Driving an intoxicated friend home once resulted in a cigarette burn on the front passenger seat. Also covered by the seat cover. Not a smokers truck, just a careless friend.
There are some scratches and a few dents on the truck, nothing outrageous, about what you'd expect from an 11 year old truck)
Windshield is OEM from 2007 and has 3 chips on the passenger side.
Steering wheel controls do not work with the aftermarket head unit. There is a part that will allow them to work with an aftermarket head unit, I just never got around to installing it.
TPMS light is on as two of the batteries died.

Title is clean and in hand, registration is current.
This truck has been a CA truck its entire life, I have the original owners manual, two keys and one key fob.

Price: $16,000 OBO * sliders will be removed prior to sale, leaving them on for the time being to prevent door dings *

I've got a 2007 TRD OR AC 4x4 with 88k miles that you could have. Same color and everything.

 

Haha I've thought about what would happen if I found the same color! Sucks you're in SC, that'll be a trek. Definitely interested though. Is your truck for sale now, or are you going to be listing it in the future?

 

It's not actively for sale, but like they say, everything's for sale if the price is right! I love my truck but just don't really need it much any more. And as you know, Radiant Red is the BEST color. If you're interested, I would definitely be willing to consider selling.

Charleston's a beautiful place to visit, especially this time of year. You'd have the perfect excuse!
