The 09+ use a temp sensor that is for the Air Conditioning controls. The sensor sends information that the body ECU uses for controlling air conditioning and then sends the information to the temperature console.

Just to let everyone know, 2005-2008 used the standard temp sensor to get the reading, 2009-current uses a A/C amplifier, the temp sensor sends the info to the amplifier and it then sends it to the display. Won't work right, the compass still works, but the temp wont display.

Trust me, i have tried and then did the research after my failed attempt.

And yes, thats a damn good price for the complete assembly.

    I'll buy it for 200.

The temp wont display for the 05-08 if using aone for a 09-11.
The connectors are the same, just different amounts of wires, they will connect up no problem, but as stated wont display temp.

They wont display temp because in 2009 toyota added an a/c amplifier which reads the signal from the temp sensor, where as the 05-08 went straight from the temp gauge to the display.

But either way, damn good deal!!! Def like 1/4 the dealer price. GLWS OP!

Look at the date. Last post before yours was almost 3 years old..............

    I'm betting not.

If he shows up and says 'yes, it's still available', I owe you a Coke. :D
