I am selling my 2012 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab Short Bed TRD Sport 4x4. I purchased this truck new in June of 2012 anticipating moving to Colorado, however I got a job in Southern California and ended up not moving or needing the Truck. I have used the truck as my everyday car in Santa Barbara and its been amazing, its very easy to drive and comfortable. The truck has had all scheduled services done at Toyota, and has always been run on full synthetic oil since the day I got it. I had the stock oil drained and replaced with syndetic before I took delivery. The truck is fully loaded, Entune multimedia system with Navigation and Bluetooth audio, VIP security system, 4x4, TRD front skid plate and TRD cat back Exhaust, Towing Package, Backup Camera, WeatherTech all weather floor mats, bed matt, cruise control, steering wheel audio and Bluetooth controls, and pretty much every single option you can get on a Tacoma from the factory.

Additionally I have installed a SnugTop Rear shell with power locks, wired into the automatic door locks, so the shell locks and unlocks with the key fob. The truck was lifted by Toyota specialist using Bilstein 5100 shocks in all four corers and Ecibach coils up front, and the rear leafs were upgraded with a TSB rear add-a-leaf. I wanted it to maintain its factory rake (back to front) after the lift to prevent it for feeling top heavy and ruining the handling, and as a result t feels sturdy and stable on the road. After the lift was installed I had the front and rear differential angles adjusted to ensure minimal wear on the drive train. The stock TRD sport rims have been painted black, and BF Goodrich All Terrain tires were installed at 10,000 miles. About 1,000 miles after the lift was installed. I had intended on keeping this truck for the next 200,000 miles so I wanted everything to be done properly. Even though I am not living in CO I hoped to keep this truck, but I'm now coming to terms with the fact that it is not practical for me to drive this truck everyday for work. I still have all the sock suspension components so if you want to return the truck to its stock ride hide that wouldn't be a problem. The truck has never been seriously off roaded, only driven down dirt fire roads on the 4th of July.

The truck new was $41,500; the SnugTop was an additional $3,000, Bilstein suspension with all the work to ensure its was installed correctly and drive train would not be affected was $2,300, and to have the wheels painted was another $600 and the tires were $1,200. I have spent over $48,000 on this truck, which is why it pains me to say I am asking $35,995 as is. Please contact me if you are interested I would like to sell it soon.
