looking to replace shocks and add spacer lift...I do not off road at all just like the height of a lift
    SOLD

unfortunately no interest on here selling private party...sold to the dealershipe for $28000 cash

they are already trying to flip it for $31,500

    http://www.toyotaofoxnard.com/certi...a-Tacoma-13b940770a0a0002009f5eb6caaae6c9.htm

    KBB:

    private party $29,300
    trade-in $27,300

really would hate to trade it in and watch the dealer sell it for $32k which will happen if they get their hands on it...so hopefully it does not come to that.

    As stated in title,

I am in Camarillo (93012) southern California between LA and santa Barbara on the 101

    5 ft. bed (short box)

A great truck...currently less than 1400 miles on it.

Upon taking delivery I also replaced stock trd shocks with bilstien 5100s on all 4 wheels and added a Icon progressive leaf in the back giving 1.5" of lift in the rear.

The front bilstien shocks are adjustable and I set those at a 1.75" height and it has had an alignment since lift.

I still have the original shocks as well if you would like those replaced...but 5100s are better in all aspects...

so all in all the truck is slightly lifted by about 1.5"

I also replaced the stock tires and placed BF Goodrich Rugged Terrain 265/70r/17...still a p rated tire giving a nice ride but a much more rugged look than the stock tires.

also replaced the stock muffler with a flowmaster delta flow 50 muffler...actually adds a nice deep tone to the exhaust note not too loud no cab drone or anything like that, just a nice start up tone and deep acceleration tone...I still have the original muffler as well if you want to return in to stock.

Bought the car on memorial day weekend of 2013

obviously still under standard warranty with Toyota and has toyotacare (2 year/25k miles service plan) which is transferable to you

if interested please let me know via e-mail and leave your email and phone number

Clear CA title in my name in hand ready to be signed over.

Why am I selling a new truck? an opportunity to buy a house that I was not expecting is on the horizon and I want to ensure that I do not have to pass because of the recent purchase of the truck...hate to let it go but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do, ya know

    PM me if interested

Yeah like I said in the op...an opportunity to buy a house from a relative just came up as a possible option here in the next few months...I have over 30k invested and just completed the payoff...if this house situation materializes I will need most of that 30k that is invested in the truck right now...when I purchased the truck about 2 months ago I had no idea that this might be coming up I thought the purchase of house was quite a ways away, but this is a somewhat special circumstance. It is a possibility that even if the truck sells I may not get the house...but if I cannot sell the truck I know for sure I will not be able to get the house so that is why I am trying to sell it...unfortunate circumstance but trying to make the best choice for my family at this point.

throw an e-locker on there and go for it...I hear they should not be underestimated :D

Yeah, an E-Locker should be able to get through 90% of all California SVRA trails. Seriously, I don't know why they say you have to have 4x4 on those trails. 100% of all intermediate blues can be handled w/ 2WD alone w/o E-Locker.

4x4 only comes in handy when you encounter obstacle courses or if you're high sided (but then you'd be really f'd anyway so it doesn't matter what you have LOL).

If you really want to be self-recovering, spend money on a winch, bumper, 33s, rock sliders, skid plates, snatch block, recovery strap, swap the e-locker for an ARB Air Locker + Compressor, and a bottle of CO2 for super fast reinflating tires.

It might actually be easier for you to go through obstacles since after you're weighed down w/ all that armor and plate bumper, you won't have a transfer case and CV shafts weighing your front down. Plus you get better mileage than a 4x4 model.

I like it very much. Almost identical to my 2007. And probably not many potential buyers would have much problem with the shocks and muffler swap.

Plenty of folks around here use 2WD trucks if their main use is on pavement. And certainly not many available used with less than 1K, even at the dealers.
