I finally got around to installing my retros and have been running them without issue.

Therefore I am ready to sell my stock headlights. They were on my 2015 DCSB SR5 for approx. 11,500 miles. No cracks, nearly mint. I have them all cleaned, packed and ready to ship.

    Bulbs included, obv.

$250 OBO shipped to the lower 48 states.

    PayPal only.

It's blue painters tape? Would it really be that bad to peel of and then throw in the oven? Not sure if the amount of glue on them would be significant. People use painters tape to cover their front ends when going to meets

Either way figure I'd give you a shout :D

@LSC15 Ah. The masking tape that protects the lense and leaves zero residue behind?

Is that actually concerning? I'm seriously asking...

Curious also. Thought painters tape was rather benign.

Since it appears you have original boxes, do you have the original form-fitting foam inserts also? Maybe that would be enough protection for the lens?

Correct. I do have the foam inserts that are form fitting. @RAD recommended blue tape for protection from minor scratches when removing headlights from truck.

I just took it upon myself to retape them completely upon cleaning them for the sale. I very well may remove it and use cling wrap. Almost did out of the gate...I make mistakes I guess.

You can use the blue painters tape during removal and install of headlights to protect them. If you're going to protect them while you're shipping them out, use some cling wrap. Do not leave saran wrap/cling wrap on a pair of headlights for a very long extensive amount of time.

There is nothing wrong with having it on and I am sure he's not going to buy the HL at $300.

Omg painters tape! They're ruined. I'll give you $20 for them shipped to Canada, since they're now virtually worthless. :D
