I was going to get one of these but I checked and the previous owner drilled two holes into the bumper for my current bracket :(

Since I was doing this for aesthetic reasons and not practical reasons (light bar may be in my future) I decided to paint the bracket. ACEkraut is correct that it is barely visible once mounted, but in the back of my mind I would know it was there. This added several days to my install as I waited for coats of primer and paint to dry. Would I do it this way again in the future? Probably not. But I'm glad I did it this time.

And the only visible angle of the bracket:

Look into Bumper Plugs to fill the holes:
    https://www.bumperplugs.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=1_11_98&product_id=98

Or go my route and do a DIY. Look up one post and you can see the color-matched plugs where the screw holes are. It doesn't look great but it looks much better than empty holes. I found the plugs at O'Reillys and ordered the Dupli Color color-matched paint from Amazon.

Hi Clinton. Welcome to Tacoma World and to Tacoma ownership. You have a stock Toyota skid plate with no Toyota or aftermarket accessory skid plate. So you will need the LM-1215. I will start a conversation and give you the ordering details.

@benbenww beat me to the answer. He covered two of the options very well. Thanks! The other option you have is to use seam sealer or flexible caulk or paintable silicone to fill the hole flush then use touch up paint to color match. I used the 3M product linked in the products section below since I have a black bumper. The dealership screwed up and drilled mine but I like the look of a lower mounted plate so much better that I made up the brackets I am selling so I could mount it lower.

Let me know if you decide if you want to order one.

Just ordered and received my product. Looks great and I'm excited to install. Would order again, this keeps me from having to drill holes into my truck! Thank you again, ACEkraut!

Has anyone with this product gone through a carwash? Did it hit the lower bumper?

I have driven mine through a car wash many times but it is a brushless car wash which I suspect you are not asking about. I have sold over 200 brackets and have yet to hear of one being damaged by a car wash. They are pretty sturdy brackets. I use a couple felt pads to protect the bumper in case the plate is bumped in to. Hopefully someone will chime in with their own experience. One member did say that he had a front end collision with his truck and said that the bracket survived just fine and he made a couple slight bends to it and is still using it to this day.

I have this mount on a 2013 TRD Off Road with factory non-TRD skid plate. ACEkraut included the felt pads with my purchase. I have been through both touchless and brush type automatic car washes with no damage.

I was referring more to damage to the lower fascia- I just painted it to cover up where the bumper mounted plate scraped all across the top from wind and car washes. I guess the bumper pad trick would work from the op's post earlier.
