I used your grill insert on my second gen... this one looks sooo much easier, none of the dremelling nightmare.

I had a lil mishap with mine so it needs re-doing, just haven't mustered up the will yet :annoyed:

I'm interested in this as well. The mesh already glued to the inner black ring. That would be great.

I'm estimating I'll have full stock of these by the end of the month. There's currently a preorder on my site. Once there's actual stock of them, the "Back Order" button will reflect that update. I'll also try to update this thread when the first batch of production parts are done and ready to ship.

Both (kinda). So, the mesh piece on its own is obviously going to be available. Tentatively, I have them priced at $80 + shipping. I'm unsure on how much waste we'll have on them, pricing will likely fluctuate once I really dial these in. The cuts need to be much more precise than the 2nd gen pieces ever were for me.

Given how little room I have here and the cost to ship them, it doesn't make sense for me to stock the WHOLE grill. Instead, I do plan on stocking the bezels. I will be offering a complete bezel that can be snapped in as a direct replacement. I believe from Toyota the black bezels are listed at $114 and the chrome is $171. I've currently have the preorder of the full bezel (black) with mesh installed replacement piece at $279 + shipping (chrome bezel will be more), again the price may fluctuate once we get them going in production.

In hand now, I have 6 black bezels (one complete with mesh installed), and 1 chrome bezel. Hoping to hand make a few this weekend while I make adjustments to the machine cut pieces.

The white TOYOTA lettering similar to the FJ grill might look good on a white taco

I'd like either the Toyota lettering or the Tacoma lettering like on Tyfoon11's. I'd probably go for a black or gray lettering.

I liked the look of the "Tacoma" on my second gen, but I think it may be too small for the third, it would just get lost. actually quite a few people commented that they thought it was too small for mine, but I think it worked and was different from everyone else's

the "Toyota" on the TRD Pro Tundra would be a good size for the 3rd gen

The grill on the 3rd gen is just too massive to not have some visual lines breaking it up, like a horizontal metal strip or indentation, similar to the trd pro grills.

Good point. I could see that being the case. I'm a big fan of the look of the TRD Pro Tacoma grill.

Whoever perfects the "trd pro" grill (like on that tundra above), will be a rich man indeed.
