I just emailed Midwest Toyota about the sparked interest on this deal and told the guy that the thread was posted on sticky. I also mentioned there was a pretty big sales potential from Tacomaworld members. ;)

    Edit:

    Got a reply...

Thanks a lot Aaron. I really appreciate you doing that.
I will relist them again tomorrow morning when I get more stock in. You and your buddies cleaned me out.
Please pass along that we are a Toyota dealership and with the purchase of items on eBay everyone will get discounts on any other parts they may need.
    Thanks again!
    Scott

Seems their auction has ended and they didn't relist. Here's a new one with gaskets included $39.95 shipped

They're not OEM gaskets, but as long as they work, and it's a dealer selling them, they should do the job. The OEM ones are blue with silver in the center. Good find, 98Tacoma. Also a pretty good deal!

I messaged Midwest Toyota about crush gaskets. They said they'd add them (genuine Toyota gaskets) to an order for $0.82 each.

8 DOLLARS PER FILTER?! Holy crap batman! I get coupons for $4.25 per filter. They send flyers on deals just about every month so I buy several at a time.

How long can these things sit? With a case of 10, I can go for 4-5 years.

4 or 5 years, I wish! 60 miles one way up a mountain to work for me. As long as they stay dry and cool I don't see a problem with them sitting that long. Make sure no mice or other critters make them home.

I pay 3.99 per filter at my dealership. So the 39.95 is about what they would cost so 39.95 is a good deal considering they gave free shipping.

There are oem and they are from a legitimate dealership. I purchased a case. Dealer cost on oil filters is probably way under what we pay for them even at roughly 4 bucks a pop.
