FS/ 4.10 gears front, rear and rear carrier bearing

Gears are out of a 2012 4cyl Tacoma with 21000 miles. They fit the 8.4" rear axle and the front is an 8" clamshell. I bought these earlier in the year to put them in my Tacoma but I sold the truck.
Looking for $250 pickup in DFW or $315 shipped. Shipping was $65 from Oregan to Texas so keep that in mind.
Open to trades but don't really need Tacoma parts. Let me know what you have. Watches, sun glasses, guns, camping stuff, etc.

This is the perfect ratio for a 4.0 with 33-34" tires. Where 4.56 is a bit too much.

I'm running 35s with 4.10s and have zero issues with gearing -6sp manual

 

Would these fit my 2013 TRD sport? Also, would this help my issue of the tranny searching for 5th gear on the highway with 285's?

 

Yes they would put you back very close to stock gear ratios.

As far as install goes, is this a DIY install or does a shop have to do it?

 

You will want a shop to do this unless you have the feeler gauges, calipers and knowledge. You will also need a front carrier bearing from a 4 cylinder or one for 4.10 gears.

 

Why do I have to spend so much money on my house instead of the truck? Would love to have these.

Anyone know real quick if these would work with a TRD Off-Road (E-Locker)?

 

No - these are for the 8.4 rear not the 8.0

Me? no.. factory 3.73's. dont want to jump to 4.56's. wouldnt mind 4.10's. they are hard to come by though

 

I do, and it is however at highway w/the manual trans it still feels a shade over geared for me. 70mph @ 2630rpm.
36's will drop that a bit & get me where I want to be though.
As far as low end, I'll have the crawl box so I DGAF about that.

 

I got 295s now but going back to 35s on auto trans. Will the rpms be similar? Sorry to jack thread
