    Rough them up a little with sand paper, and google prep for aluminum to paint. But knowing they are not gonna get bothered I would just spray em with decent spray can and let em ride.

    I know right. I didn't really think much about it until I thought what the heck, I will try it. Like you I could not imagine 1" would make that much difference. You are very welcome.     No, just rear 2 mounting spots. It throws the back bottom up and gives support to the low back area. I very nice improvement. Most folks do both front seats.
