Great, I am glad it helps you. Funny how that small seat mod helps so much. Enjoy and thank you

For anyone thinking about getting these just do it. I asked Dennis to make 3/4” spacers for me since I’m 6’2” and he got them out in no time, a great guy. Glad I didn’t get the 1” spacers as thy really do lift the seat up more than you think, I was already looking out the top 1/3 of the windshield. Good thing I already had MrYo’s mirror mount installed!

Just got around to installing mine. Wow. I've done quite a few mods to my 2nd Gen but who would have thought raising my seat angle would be one of my favorites. Definitely more comfortable on my back. But FYI check your head clearance before, I'm only 6'1 and now have 2 inches of space above my big head, not an issue but might be if you're taller.

I was having some pretty bad back problems right after buying the truck, it developed about 3-4 weeks after ownership, I attributed the pain to a saggy bed. About a month after that, the pain got worse and I was stiff to the point I was not able to stand up straight. I mocked up the mod with longer bolts and 15 washers per side and it helped immensely. I later ordred from Dennis and installed properly and its been a godsend.

After fixing the seating position and getting a new mattress, I feel like a new man.

Thank all of you for feed back. When ordering shorter ones if you are tall keep in mind this is one of them things where a little at the bottom creates a lot at the other end. I suggest doing just like Kimgt, mock it up to the height that fits you and I will make them no matter the size same price. Most times I get them machined and shipped within 24 hrs.

Ordered the spacers with bolts on Sunday. Received them in today's mail. Took ten minutes to install them. Would have taken less time, but its only 5 degrees outside and my fingers got cold. Noticed an immediate difference in my sitting stance. Much more comfortable. Thanks Dennis.

Tied several boat anchors to my truck to destroy MPG.
I probably would have never really thought of this or realized how much the stock seat position sucks, but ran across this thread and decided to try it. When I put the spacers on provided @olecoot at first I almost felt like I was repositioned in an odd way and I wasn't sure about it as I'd spent +3500 miles in the stock position, but once I got used to the newer position I realized how much it actually sucked before. Really remarkable how much it does (for me at least) make sitting in the truck for longer periods of time more comfortable. My hips in particular.

    1 inch spacer.

I got mine installed a few days ago. I did both front seats. Passenger side gave me room for my under the seat sub. The drivers side made driving so much more comfortable.

I’m about 6’1” and long in the legs. I always felt like I either move the seat up to reach the wheel and hit my knee on the dash or move it back and feel like I’m slouching to reach for the wheel. With these spacers I was able to slide the seat back to give me leg room but still be a perfect reach from the steering wheel. I don’t have any head room issues either.

Thanks for coming up with this idea. I never would have even thought about this!

Though I did get the bolts in my order, I ended up swapping them out for grade 8 bolts. I also painted the spacer black though you can't really see it.

I went with grade 8 bolts since it seemed like the major stress these would see in an accident would be shearing...and so I just wanted that connection to be strong.
