Does anyone know of a cheaper version of the "seat jacker" for the 3rd gen tacoma?

 

If they aren't made of a metal of some type of metal with direct down force I wouldn't trust it. I only charge $10 bucks each for machined aircraft grade aluminum. Not sure you might find some for less. Be safe, JMHO.

 

The mod was for the front of the seats guys. SMH. It lifts the front of the seat to make more contact with your thighs giving them support.

 

I dont think yours will work on the fronts due to the geometry as you raise the front the angle changes

 

Ordered earlier this week. Shipped and received within 3 days. Installed in about 15 minutes. Haven't driven her around yet, but the seat position and lumbar felt more supportive. I'll report back after a longer drive.

Just ordered a set. I had a long trip today and my back was killing me only a couple hours in. So I immediately jumped on TW and found these. Great reviews and feedback, I'll be glad to test these out and my lower back will be too.

Alright, so i purchased a pair of these for the driver seat for my 2014 Tacoma. I recently began taking travel contracts full time and my latest assignment was approx 6.5 hours from home. After a few trips back home, i started to realize how fatigued and uncomfortable my back and thighs were about 3 hours into a drive. Read the reviews here and rolled the dice. They were delivered quickly and installation was easy and straightforward. I immediately noticed the difference on the first drive back to my work location. Nowhere near as sore from the drive and realized i wasn’t having to stop as often to stretch my back and legs. This simple and elegant solution to the uncomfortable angle of the seats is one of the top 3 modifications I’ve made to the truck! 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️! I recommend these for anyone that drives long distance and notices the lower back/hamstring strain.

 

I am a little late to the party; but i had some family issues with my mother. Ironically is was that issue that finally made me install these.

I have a 2007 Tacoma regular cab with a Bench Seat; so i was asked by the OP to experiment with these to ensure they fit with bench seats and THEY DO

So upon making several out of state trips to see my mother; which is a few hours each time; my back was on fire at the end of the day

i finally made some time to throw them in before another trip; and i was pleasantly surprised with the fact that after a few hours; i had absolutely no soreness or tightness in my lower back. Its amazing. Thank u to the OP for a great project

and to those with Bench Seats who arent sure if these fit; the question is now answered. Rock on!

If you are aware of the seat mod, I did it and what a difference. There is more than 30 pages of feedback please read some of it. Materials used is 6063 solid aluminum bar stock. All prices includes shipping. One seat $36 with bolts ( Grade 8 ), or $31 without bolts , Both seats $64 with bolts or $54 without bolts.
