i used a washer that was way thinner than the one on the factory bolt. Do you guys think I should find a thick comparable washer?

Best $ per benefit ratio of any mod I’ve done. Glad I ordered both sides at once. Thank you @olecoot

I can and have made some 1/2" and 3/4" for some of the taller drivers. So you are not locked in for just 1" risers or spacers. Thank you everybody.

I installed mine. It feels good to be able to at least see over the hood now. I was not able to take the washers off the OEM bolt so I just installed the spacers without the washers.

The washers are 3/8 if you want to get them. The bolts were the toughest to locate that is why I thought about making them available, maybe I should have thought to add the washers. Never thought I would have so many request for the seat mod.

My main concern is actually the lack of thigh support (I'm 5'10" with a 32" inseam as well). I haven't driven longer distances yet, so I don't know if it's a problem for me or not. That said, raising the seat in the rear would put the legs at a slightly different angle. Can anybody comment on that?

I am around 5'10" same inseam and it helped me tremendously. That is the only reason I would make them . That being said, I have made 3/4" ones for several folks from 5'10" to 6'1" Easy way to figure it out would be to pull the 2 bolts in the rear and slide something under the mounting points around 3/4 or 1 inch thick, you will instantly feel the lumbar support and the less pressure under the legs. It isn't an expensive mod so you can't waste more than what a bad meal cost. Let me know. Hope this helps.Thank you

That is a great way to see if it works for you. Haven't heard one negative feed back yet, but there is always a chance . Good luck, be safe
