Is this recommended for the 3rd Gen truck? If so who do I pay?

    Thanks so much!

Received the spacers just a couple of days after ordering them. Had both seats done the next morning in about 15 minutes.

I'm 6' 2" and I absolutely love the change in the seat position. It will be interesting to see if the hip and right leg pain goes away. Until now, anything more than 45 minutes in the truck would be incredibly painful with the right leg. But now I seem to sit higher with my legs partially bent instead of straight out to the pedals. Much more like my old FJ Cruiser.

Thanks again for a great product and great service !

You are so welcome, I get that good feeling every time I hear it helps. I can only hope it does as much for you as it did for me and a bunch of others. I can't imagine anyone not taking the chance on something that cost so little that can possibly do so much. Even if they started with one seat cost be about as much as a decent meal. Fingers crossed and Pray it helps you. Thank you for the feed back. Be safe

    Totally agree.

I tossed the old bolts in a ziplock bag and can put things back to original in a matter of minutes.
    It's a "no-brainer" experiment.

And I agree also about it being a small investment. I can't tell you how much I've spent over the last year experimenting with extra seat cushions, back supports and other different ideas. All the while squirming and shifting in traffic due to the seat discomfort. Love the truck but not the seats.

Sorry, is there any more threads about the seat mod? I am 6'4 and am a little big for the truck, is there anything that will remedy the seat position without sticking my head any further into the roof than it is now?

    Thanks a million

I just now saw this thread and I'll admit I've not read every posting so the following comment may be buried in the earlier replies. Just thought I'd pass along some info on metric bolt strength. A 10.9 metric bolt property class designation is closely equivalent to an SAE grade 8 bolt. An 8.8 metric is roughly equivalent to a SAE grade 5 bolt. One article I read concerning fastener strength in automotive applications stated:

"One of the largest areas of confusion lies with the property class 8.8 designation. Many have confused this for the equivalent of the SAE Grade 8. The tensile strength difference between 120 ksi and 150 ksi can be catastrophic in a critical application."

An 8.8 class metric bolt has a tensile strength of about 120,350 psi whereas a 10.9 bolt has a strength of about 150,800 psi. Here is a table of equivalents.

Finally got around to installing these. Nice little product and definitely feel like it's a better angle. At 6'2", I think a 3/4" spacer or possibly a 1/2" spacer might be the way to go though. Seller is top notch! Highly recommend.
