*** This Bumper is for 1995-2004 TACOMA ONLY!***

ARB deluxe winch bumper. This bumper is brand new, still in the shrink wrap. Asking $700, buyer pays shipping (est. $100) or you can pick it up at my house.

haha I know seems funny. A friends shop was having a hard time selling it, the customer backed out and decided not to take it.

I had a buy-it-now winner on ebay but he has not paid yet. it was won on the 7th at 1030am. How long do I need to wait before I file a claim with ebay..... does anyone know what the rule of thumb is for re-listing/going on with the sale elsewhere. I guess technically he sort of owns the rights to the bumper, he just has to pay for it...

You should have posted a time frame for your sale on EBAY? I think the norm is 7-10 days, more like 7?

It has been almost 48 hours. I would say send him an email and if he doesn't pay within the next 48 hours he loses his rights to it. Does the buyer have any Ebay stars, or are they a first timer?

My description said from the beginning payment required within 24 hours because it would not let me use the "immediate payment" option with paypal unless upgrading my account.does that statement in my description take a higher legal position then the norm of 7 days?
this guy is a first timer with no stars, he signed up the day he place the buy-it-now bid. I have sent him the paypal invoice, and emailed him 3 other times. I want to say screw this guy but not sure what is the right thing to do, hell I'm no ebay wiz and only have 20 stars since 2002.

i would say move on. file a claim with ebay that you have a dead-beat buyer. if your ad stated that payment was due within 24 hours of auction end and he still has yet to pay then his loss. unfortunately its your loss too since you have to relist it. you have to watch out for people on there. they sign up under new IDs and buy crap without any intentions of paying for it. sorry to hear man, but contact ebay and they will handle it for you.

damn... so apparently It does not matter what I had written in my description about payment within 24 hours. Ebay will not let me open a case until the 14th. DAMN IT!!! F'n Deadbeat ebayers!!!!

I say if you put must pay in 24hrs then that's what it is. Move on. I would file a claim on the 14th day as well. If he files against you so what, you posted your terms and they where not met.

Hey Knight, I think there is a "setting" somewhere in the Ebay sellers preferences that allows you to ban or reject bidders under a certain amount of stars. They have to contact you to bid and then put them on the "able to bid" list if you wish...

    Good luck!

Good luck with the sale man! I know people on here know but you should add a pic to your listing of it installed on a truck so people who don't know can see how bad a$$ it is! I just ordered a new one today with the fog light option for my rig.
