    caged, camburg long travel, 50t leafpack (soon to be installed) light rack over cab, 5pt harnesses etc

    they are only use for step rails. they WILL NOT hold the weight of the truck

    and op, think about cleaning the rust off they will sell way easier

    Is the tubing strong enough that if the mounts were cut off and new ones welded to attach to frame they could stand up to light duty offroad use?

    mine stand up to light duty offroading the way they are. They are just bolt ons

    I don't see why not. I assume Avid uses the same tubing for these that they use for the weld on ones.
