FS Avid Light Bar *powder coated*

Selling my Avid light bar. It's powder coated flat black and bolts right to the front using existing bolts in your bumper. Great condition.

Any tabs for lights?

someone had asked me about dings and there are no dents or dings in the bar. there's some abrasions on the powder coat I think from people tapping it with their plastic bumpers as I used to park on the street. so I took this pic to show the type of little things you can see up close. can't see it from a few feet away

 

Is it possible to add light tabs to it?

 

Of course it is possible, almost anything is possible.

If you want to have the tabs welded on you will need bare metal. You can probably sand off just enough PC to add the tabs and then use a rattle can to touch up the bar after.

 

Not to be a jerk, it's an honest question, but why buy a light bar with no tabs?

 

I have my lights behind the grill. This product is labeled a "light bar" by Avid so that's why I'm calling it that although it was not used as one for my truck. It would be confusing if I put "Avid bull bar" everyone would be like wtf is that.

More aptly, a heavy duty bull bar. While the Aussies may call a plate bumper a bull bar, we know of them in the states as lightweight tube metal bolt-ons that are mostly for looks. Avids are stronger than any other bull bar that I know of, and are only outpaced by true plate bumpers.

Free bump for a good deal. You can easily get clamp-on mounts for this or take it to a shop and get some fabbed up.
