Alrighty, I've already encountered my first "delays" with this project

    • Grizzly said the T-Slot Nuts are back-ordered until 4/10/15. I placed an order for (50) which is enough to make (10) Hi-Lift, (10) Tool, and (5) T-Mounts. I asked them to keep the order open and expedite shipping if they can. I went ahead and ordered some additional T-Slot Nuts from Zoro (which are almost 3x the cost) in order to fill orders sooner than April.

    • RAM Mounts finally got back to me today (after I called and left a VM this AM). They are able to supply the RAM-KNOB6LSU as a viable option to "lock" the Hi-Lift to the mount. However, they currently have a 4-6 Week lead time for new orders (way too long IMHO). Being local, I was hoping for a very quick turn-around :)() but I am proceeding as planned. I paid almost $30 to have a single Locking Knob sent to me, just to test, but I am hoping I can buy more in bulk and have them available sooner than 4-6 Weeks.

    • I made a big order with Fastenal for all the small h/w (nuts, bolts, washers etc.) that should be here this week, so that's good :)

I have gotten a few PMs already which I will respond to today (if I haven't already responded)

Stay tuned for more details after these messages....
