    you have to be better than that.

    Come on, your talking to a SINGLE structural engineer that makes a six figure salary. I dont always go for the cheaper solution.

    I don't know anything about Softopper brand. I do know I've 20+ of the Bestop Supertop and have had no complaints

    Cause it looks bad ass. I personally like it more because of the removable windows. I think it looks better but the fact that you can in zip the windows and pull them off and now have easy access inside the shell from the sides is a huge plus. I honestly haven't seen a softtopper in person but I have my best top to go of so I'm sure I am biased. I like the structure of the top as well. It's easy to install, easy to drop down, and way to put back up.

    Did I mention they look bad ass?

    Hope that helps with some decisions.

    the front window uses velcro but all the sides and back have zippers on the side of the window with these plastic lips that interlock at the top and bottom. They could be better at staying together but your windows are held in with the zippers so its not like they will fly off or anything. Even when they aren't interlocked you can't really tell.
