    The holes you drill would be covered up if you ever took the bushwackers off and put the stock flares back on. I think these would look whatever color you went with. The black may match the wheels and tires and grill better. But it also looks good painted. See the pic I posted on here from the bushwacker website, that truck shows what the flares look like color matched to your truck. It's really up to you, it's your truck, and you should build it the way you think looks best to you.
