Just ordered some pro rims for the 4Runner. Debating about ordering these in silver or dark gray.

Super clean! How is the installation process? Planning to put them on this weekend but was throw off by the masking tape instructions.

It wasn't too bad. You will definitely want the masking tape and soapy water. Take your time and clean all the dirt and oil from the center caps. I was super meticulous on the placement as I did not want to see any red. All told it took me maybe an hour to an hour and half to complete.

thanks for the advice. Wheels are new and coming in on Thursday. I’ll get to this sometime over weekend, probably early morning before my kids drive me through the roof and I’m still calm lol. Did you just use dish soap and water? Does that seem to dry well?

Yes and just a couple drops. I also forgot to mention the tape so you use your fingers and damage the edges as well as introduce oil from you fingers into the mix. Use the tape on a corner of the sticker only. Turn the sticker over and use your nail to rub the paper side this releases the sticker from the paper backing.

Much more difficult to do than I thought. Looks bad for my OCD from up close, but from a few feet looks great!

Up close the red is more visible but from a normal standing distance it is not noticeable. Looks great!

First coat of Dr Beasley’s Matte Wheel Seal. Next coat will go on once the wheels are installed on Friday. Decals didn’t even move and love how they look!!!!

No. I ordered them from BAM. I used decals for the lettering and they’ve held up great

Installed the decals last night. Took me about an hour. I did the wet application method with patience and precision. I think it turned out really well.

Thanks! I waited until late last night so there’s no distraction. I can’t see any “red” at all. It did hurt the back of my neck though. Lol

I just did this for my GF white 4Runner. She has matte black wheels. So I went with light gray for a bit of contrast. I think the white decals would turn gray anyway…
