FS: CVT Expedition Mt. Shasta Hybrid RTT- $700

For sale is a CVT Expedition Mt. Shasta Hybrid (56” Medium) roof top tent purchased new in October 2022.

The hybrid means it has a powder coated diamond plate top and bottom, something usually reserved for more expensive tents.

Another reason why I bought this particular one is because it is among the best for tent material thickness (360 gram poly-ripstop canvas) lending itself to doing quite well in colder camping - making it truly 4 season. I’ve slept in it down to 20 degrees with just a sleeping bag, it’s super comfortable with the memory foam mattress.

This particular tent also has the clear Stargazer panels on the top of the tent.

The tent is in good shape, I’ve probably spent about 10 nights in it. I got it at a great price from CVT, due to some potential leaks with the design, but I never had any issues with leaks and they were all taken care of- I went to a lot of trouble to completely seal up the diamond plate and aluminum frame with silicone and flex tape. I’ve been super happy with this tent, but I’m buying a lighter RTT that’s easier take on/off by myself.

The skirt around the tent itself has some slight scuffs and abrasions, but the tent is in great shape. And the annex has never been used and is like new.

· 3 inch thick memory foam mattress protected by a washable mattress cover
· Annex, which comes standard with the Shasta tents, can be utilized or stowed.
· Extended Fly, allows the annex to completely enclose the ladder for your own personal privacy.

CVT doesn’t make this tent anymore, but to look at something similar you can check out the Pioneer. Same dimensions, but my tent for sale has the heavier fabric, diamond plate top and bottom, Stargazer tent fly, and memory foam mattress.

This tent retailed new for close to $3200, I got a deal at half off, so I’m only asking for $700. Thank you.
