Info on my side , just seeing if I can get someone that knows a little more about things like this , I don't want a burnt Taco

 

I'm getting mine this weekend (I believe these ambers are mine). I'll definitely get a review on here ASAP. So far, during fabrication of my headlights the last couple weeks, I've received excellent communication back and picture updates throughout the entire build!

Me too, cant wait for these guys to get them hooked up and share the experience, I had about 5 projects going on with two guys on here so these took a little longer than expected with some parts being back ordered from TRS, and trying a new mounting method for the FXR using JNC, on average my turn around time is two weeks.

Currently I am waiting on parts for a FJ build and a 2014 LS460 tacoma build.

Received the headlights 5 weeks after I ordered them. First impression:

Loose turn signal lense and paint chipped already! OR didn't thoroughly paint the bezel!


Didn't wait for the paint to dry? Wet paint dripped throughout headlight?


Not the best paint job in my opinion!


I clearly stated how I would like these headlights to look and he still did not build them that way. clearly says it right there that I want everything blacked out EXCEPT turn signal!






...I will definitely not be going to Enterprise to get anything painted, that's for sure!

Here's one before I got the lights.. looks like the lenses aren't painted yet.. weird..he was about to close them and ship them.. HMMM



Yet... he still painted the turn signals black. Now the turn signal is barely visible from 12 inches away. Don't know about anyone else, but I use my turn signals.


While attempting to align the lights I noticed that both projectors or hid bulbs are slanted up to the left. Left side of light goes higher, shining in other vehicle mirrors. Also, you should notice a large shadow within the light. I don't know what's causing it, but my guess is that leaky paint I pointed out earlier.. IDK, but it sucks!

Now today after running some errands, I walked around my truck and saw this.. both headlights completely fogged


..and a loose reflector

I was seriously excited that he offered a warranty and to hopefully help him out with a good review on TW, and to get, what seemed to be at the time, a good product!




I feel as though I did a nice thing by paying 100% instead of his required %70. I guess I'm just a fool cause I lost the entire $700 and $77.44 shipping cost!

IMHO There isn't "always that one guy", I ran an Ebay business for a couple years with a perfect record, selling Playstation 3's. I would purchase the PS3 broken, disassemble them, fix, reassemble and sell. 100% positive feedback! If you treat your customers right then you don't get "that one guy".

4 years? in your texts, you said 2 years.. oh well.

I would love to hear from anyone else that purchased lights from Joe Dubreuil. anyone else having issues?! Please PM me!

Been in business for 4 years doing this, you got what you wanted to be built. Either way write your review it won't hurt my company. I do this to help some toyota guys out sorry you were not happy about you turn signal being how you assumed even after picture updates through out.

Been busy; FJ Retrofit & LS460 Retro Mocked up ready to be sent off to paint. I will most likely put the finishing touches on these two early next week, have another TW member on board waiting on parts to arrive, we don't just do Tacoma's!

I'm in the same industry, it's a little hard for me to fork over that kinda money for lights lol. Labor, I do not doubt it is worth that much and far more haha

 

Not really in the light bar industry just wanted to share some with other Tacoma guys, I don't really like dealing with that.

The price you getting the light bars for I would imagine it to be hard to fork up 700.00, but you not getting china here.
