Original owner, Toyota enthusiast and very OCD helicopter pilot. Clean California truck, just moved to Northern Virginia last year. 2021 SR Tacoma Double Cab 4X4 with Convenience Package, Apple car play, and Toyota Safety Sense, radar adaptive cruise control, lane departure assist. All dealer MX completed until March 2024 when I took over. Always used Toyota oil and filters every 5000 miles. Selling to purchase a full size truck for my growing family. 49k miles. Asking $37k.

I’ve been building Toyotas for 19 years, many for Tacomaworld.com forum members on the West Coast. Some of my work can be seen here: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/mobile-installation-modification-service.727768/page-3

I bought this truck new from Grants Pass Toyota in Oregon and immediately dumped $20k into the highest quality components and fabrication. It is perfectly re-geared, locked and armored. Everything is done the right way, easy to maintain and built to last. It’s been absolutely babied and only used on USFS roads in the Sierras. No rust, no scratches, only 1 small ding in the tail gate from my dirt bike handle bar falling into it.

    Re-gearing:

4.88 Nitro Gears done by the Rear End Shop of Livermore, CA. This shop does 10-20 Toyota re-gears every month. Installed when there was 2k miles on the truck, meticulously broken in by the book with gear oil changed at 500, 1500, 20k miles, and 45k miles. Currently running Amsoil severe gear in front and rear diffs. They are perfectly silent. The truck turns 2100rpm at 70mph and gets just under 20mpg highway.

Eaton/Harrop Electronic Rear Locking Differential that can be engaged in both 2wd and 4wd, unlike factory Toyota e-lockers. Installed at the same time as the re-gear.

    Winterizing:

In early December 2024 before the first snow I had Automotive Protection Services in Fairfax inject Swedish Noxudol cavity wax into the boxed forward frame, rocker panels, doors, tail gate, hood, and all upper sheet metal. Body is always ceramic coated. The entire frame and undercarriage have 2 generous coats of Amsoil Heavy Duty Metal Protector. Every bolt head and hose clamp in the engine bay is also coated in Amsoil HDMP. Undercarriage and frame flushed with salt dissolver for 30 minutes every day that was above freezing temps last winter. The King shocks and upper control arms were heavily sprayed with Blaster silicone on a weekly basis throughout the winter, they look nearly new. I hate road salt if you can’t tell…

    Suspension:

King 2.5 Extended Travel External Reservoir w/new 650lb springs, and full fresh rebuild with new fluid/seals/nitrogen/bushings/ball joints by MILOGEN in March 2023. Only 10k miles on rebuild.

Total Chaos Upper Control Arms, bushings lubrucated every 15k miles, uniballs lubicrated every 3 months with Triflow only.

Rear Timbren bump stops, front Wheelers Off-road super bumps.

Deaver Stage 1 leaf springs with U bolt flip kit.

    Fabrication:

Professional Cab Mount Chop, pinch welds flattened and completely sealed. Done by MILOGEN, the top Toyota fabricator in Northern California.

Total Chaos spindle gussets (reinforced spindles) and TC alignment tabs (factory alignment tabs bend easily). Done by MILOGEN.

    Armor and recovery:

    Warn slim line bumper.

Smittybilt X20 Gen3 12,000lb winch with synthetic line and blue tooth wireless remote control plus plug in option. I’ve never used the winch other than spooling the line during installation. This X20 has the highest water proof rating for the control box. I kept the entire unit sprayed down with silicone throughout the winter.

Custom low profile TIG welded 0 degree bolt-on frame sliders, single square tube with 3/16” walls. Designed to be usable as a safe high-lift jack point. 2 coats of primer with 2 coats of raptor liner.

Full length 1/4” aluminum skids. Aluminum RCI front skid, Ricochet offroad aluminum transmission and transfer case skid plates with steel cross member.

All Pro powder coated steel gas tank skid plate.

    Other components:

ARB driveshaft carrier bearing drop kit. Zero driveline vibes.

Rear diff Breather kit from Yotashop, relocated to bed cargo box.

New Arc fender liners to protect engine from road grime.

ATH Fab front bed stiffener/motorcycle chock.

    Rear bed stiffeners.

    Diode dynamics fog lights.

Seats covered with Neoprene front and back since the truck was new.

    Door sill protectors.

    Weather tech floor mats.

    Soft roll up tonneau cover.

    Wheels/tires:

Newer Toyo AT3 tires with individual warranties for damage replacement. Only 15k miles on them. Rotated every 5K.

Black rhino 17x9 wheels with -12 offset. Brand new 5th Black Rhino wheel never mounted.

Full size Procomp wheel/Pirelli 33” spare mounted under bed, zero miles.
