    Take it from me and save it and trade it in later. You will only get like 400 from a jewelry store for it and an individual will want some type of documentation if he's spending over 1000. I only got 750 for a 4000 dollar Tiffany ring when my ex left me for a guy in a band. It sucked and on top of it she wanted half the money from the ring!!

    Sorry to hear... I agree on the trade it in guys. DONT give that ring to a new one! Just dont. Bad omens and all that and if the new one ever found out that ring was on another woman's (your ex) hand, you will be missing a body part not soon after.

    Like stated, they do some real good deals with trade ins. Think that would be the best bet.

    Or see if ya can get lucky and keep trying to sell it if you really just want the $$ for something else.
