    So I ended up getting a great deal on a winch that has a steel cable which means I cannot use this aluminum fairlead. Going to try my luck and hopefully save myself the hassle of returning it online. The price is $75 (local pickup only). This thing is new, never installed.

    Negative. The winch I purchased came with the proper fairlead.
