I hope you’d expect to cover shipping with a low offer like that. That’s 25% lower than his asking price.

You could probably snag them for something a little more reasonable like 1400.

Absolutely, that's an option. Not following the logic though. You'd rather spend $2,200 (deal with any lead time if applicable) and get clear zinc coating as opposed to saving $800 and getting a Cerakote finish?

You act like I came in here and offered him half of what he was asking. Felt my offer was pretty fair considering they’re used, I take all the risk, and I still have to source a resi bracket. The logic is that it’s new and I know it’s history, and comes with a warranty.

The manufacturer's website for this PN says 0-3" (with aftermarket upper control arm). Really depends on spring rate and preload that is applied as they are adjustable.

Cerakote itself is fairly cost effective. I think $80 per body last I looked into it. What really gets you is having to fully tear down the shock to have the bodies coated. Body cap and all hardware has to come off so labor rates can vary depending on who's doing the work.

Yes, you should get an aftermarket UCA. It’s not “required” but the shock will not limit wheel travel like it’s intended to on a factory setup.
