I decided that I was going to build a home server as a “project” so I bid on a server on ebay without really knowing what I was getting into.
Since I hate to lose a bidding war I was relentless.
Well I won the auction but was not aware the server I bid on was so BIG (read the specs for dimensions and weight).
    I really can’t use it.

I was going to return it but with the restocking fee and shipping it would be a waste of time so I am offering it up for FREE :) (plus shipping) to any member that can use it. I am warning you though the shipping could be expensive as this thing is BIG and HEAVY (specs say it is 48 lbs and 27 inches deep).
Also I really dont know much about these things so dont ask a bunch of technical questions.
I was going to use this as a learning experience. All I can really tell you about it is based on the specs below.
PM me if interested. I would love to find someone for a local pick up so that I don't have to try and lug it to the UPS store!

I know someone who might be interested in this, but it's a long drive (250mi). I'll PM you early next week if he is interested.

If anyone is interested in it and wants to check the shipping costs on it, the computer comes in a 36L X 24W X 12H box and weighs 48 lbs. It ships from zip 27909.
