I bought these rails and used them to make an elevated shelf to help separate stuff for camping. I recently scored a CargoSlide from @canopycarl and think it will replace any need I'll ever have for these bars. They are in pretty decent shape overall, but the powdercoat got rubbed off in a spot or two while they were packed away during a move. These things are super handy. They have slots in top and bottom that accommodate nuts or bolts, so pretty much anything can be mounted to these things. I think they were designed to use on an open bed, but I was able to mount them with a canopy on by using longer bolts. Also, they fit in any Tacoma with the rail system. I attached the perforated angle brackets to use as tie downs and to use as edges when I used a plywood shelf on it. I can include them if you want, or not. The rails are dusty in the pictures.

I can meet near Eugene, and I will be driving to Portland and back on Saturday, so we can arrange a meeting then.

    More pics...

This picture shows the worst of the worn areas. This is on the underside of the bar. A little spray paint or spray on bedliner would cover it up just fine. The bars are aluminum, so I didn't care enough to cover it up.

Interesting. Do you have any pics of how it looked and mounted inside the canopy?

Unfortunately, no. I run a cab height canopy, and the bars typically sit 8-9 inches above the top of the bed. When I had it installed with the canopy, it gave me plenty of room to put my tent, sleeping bags, camp chairs, etc., that I knew I would want access to right away so I could set camp up without having to take other stuff out.

I have a Leer and there's a lip that that sticks out .25" past the bed rail, I wonder if that'll keep it from mounting flush. Thinking this could be a good option to mount traction boards and gas cans to if it'll work. I may be headed through Eugene this weekend, would you be down to test fit?

I also have a Leer, and fits similarly. I'm headed to Portland Saturday, but can meet Sunday in Eugene.

And I'll check my old phone when I get home. I may have a pic of it mounted on it.

No worries. There's a chance I'll be heading to Florence on Saturday and pass back through Eugene on Sunday, I'll reach out to you if that ends up happening.

Good deal. I actually live on 126 between Eugene and Florence, so if you're coming that way, it's even better for me. Let me know.

This ad is two years old. I forgot I had ever posted this one. They didn't sell so I kept using them for another year or and then finally sold them a few months ago. Sorry I didn't delete this ad, but I forgot about it.

I sold them to a member on here. Maybe they'll come up for sale again sometime and he'll pass the sweet deal I gave him on to you.

I have a question. You had this set up inside of a cap? Thanks.

I did. They mounted to the stock bed rails under the cap. It's been a while since I used it. I think I may have had to buy longer bolts, but no major modifications had to be made. The fit depends on how much overhang your cap has on the inside edge. I thought I had a pic but can't find it.

Here's a pic of it mounted to a cargo slide. It gives you an idea of the scale of it under the cap. It's a great system. Adding the perforated angle brackets made it nice for strapping stuff down too. I had a piece of plywood I cut and used like a shelf. I am planning to build a drawer system is the only reason I got rid of it.

No need, I can visualize it in my head. So it just happen to fit like that?

Reason I ask is, I have a cap now. It was used, a great price and even though I wanted windoors I bought this without because it was a great price.

Since no windoors I have been thinking about making an interior mole panel system for the sides and roof. It's not like I can use the sliders to pass anything through them so I might as well make it so I can mount a lot of stuff to it and in the process if I cover the windows a little so be it. I was going to tie it into the clamps that hold the cap on. I like the bed rail idea even more.
