Decided to clean up the wires, ballast, and monocontrol and make the engine bay look clean. Took three days to get this to work, lot of re-wiring. Thanks for Burt for all his help with talking through a little issue I came across.

If anyone is on the fence about getting these, get off the damn fence and pay up. These are a beautiful upgrade to the Tacoma and TOTALLY worth the money. I just received mine today and I immediately put them in.

The install is pretty straight forward and the wiring is easy. If you can install plug n play HID's you can hook these up. The hardest part for me was the bolt that is in the inner fender area. I have big hands so it took a long time to get them out. I found it easier to lay on the ground and remove the plastic in the wheel well to get to those bolts.

I am one extremely happy customer!

I can't wait for my set to get finished! Hopefully it is one of the 3 sets of 2005-2011 retrofits you are working on now!

I finally got mine YAAYYYY. Top workmanship and sweet product.

I am having a tough time aiming them. I'm stock 2012 ACLB TRD sport (no lift and actually had around 500# in the bed).

Used an 8 mm gear wrench. Out of the box the cutoff hit the road about 40' in front of the truck. Adjusted the drivers side, but topped out about 2.3" low from the stock aim @ 25' from my garage door. Cutoff hits the road about 100' in front of the truck. Pass side was even weirder. 8 mm bolt moved the beam left/right. Am I missing something?

It looks like a very pissed off toad, LOL

It sounds like the bolt you are adjusting is the side/side bolt. Look down lower and more towards the fender to see the up/down bolt and they are a pain to reach. The driver side one is the worst one. The passenger side is way easier, I unbolted my washer fluid reservoir and tilted it out of the way.

I am still working on mine. I tweak them slightly once in a while because I keep getting bright lighted.

You can also use a Phillips screwdriver in the slot at the top of both adjustments and it works really well. I tried using the 8mm at first as well but that's not how its supposed to be adjusted I don't think. I just got mine installed last weekend, spent a ton of hours on the highway at night this week with em and all i can say is wow! Theyre super bright and the cutoff was perfect once adjusted! Gonna clean the truck up and post some pics soon.

Good idea! I can't believe I didn't try that haha. That's how I adjusted my lights on a 2013 Civic I worked on.
