Just shipped my headlights to Burt today. I cannot wait to see the finished product! I've been putting this mod off for far too long

I'm also having an issue with just 1 bulb not working properly. It seems like it will just go out randomly (driverside) and if I tap the relay box, it will turn back on. I even moved the ground and moved wires around but still have the same issue.Somehow I doubt it's the ballast. But the relay control box that all the wires tie into. What do you think. I'm lost right now trying to figure this out.

I've had that problem before with a retrosolutions.com kit for a Ford Ranger. It ended up being the bulb not igniting for me. I took the hid kit out of that truck because I sold it and I bought different bulbs for the new vehicle and transferred everything except those ranger bulbs to the new car. I never had a problem after I did that. Then I sold that car and sold that hid kit to a friend who needed the ranger bulbs and he had the same problem with the one not igniting.

Hopefully this isn't the problem for you though. I would just recheck everything and make sure you didn't over look any connections. Or since it's still under warranty get ahold of retro fit source and see what they say.

I had a similar problem. Driver side also. I switched the bulbs around, and it happened to my passenger side. A simple email and it was fixed under warranty. I hope it's something simple like that for you!

Yup, I'll switch bulbs around, see if that's what the problem is. I have spare bulbs. If not, I'll be calling TRS and see if they can warranty out my control box.

It was around a 3 week turnaround from the time I ordered. I just received today.

Are there an installation instruction guide for these?

They don't come with installation instructions. They are really easy to install though. Take your grill out and you have 3 bolts holding the light in. 2 are on top I believe and the hardest one to reach is against the fender. You may find it easier to go through the wheel well for that one against the fender.
