If you're worried about the Laws, go with the amber and get it light to medium tint only. Make sure the Amber is still here but has that nice even flow with the MGM Paint. Nice job on that and can't wait to see it done! Get it done now!

Awesome, thanks! Yeah I just sent it last night. Is the controller the gold little box on the full harness?

Super easy, but wiring the switchback function is a little different.

"Switchback" being having a separate switch in cabin for the halos?

Well nowadays, TRS has their newest halos with the ability to go from full white and switch to amber and blink when you use your turn signals.

I have mine wired to switched ignition source. This way they are on as soon as I start my truck and I don't use my factory dtrl, I just use the halos for that purpose.

Unforunately, 2012s-maybe 2013/14 don't have the option to switch it off. It's always on.

I believe you have the option to turn it off with your headlight stalk

Ahhh yes. I misinterpreted that maybe it was literally a design dif between 2015 and othwr years.

When i get some of these i want to be able to not have my halos on 24/7. So i am trying to figure out best way. I was thinking a dedicated switch in the cabin, but now kinda feelin DTRL may be an OK option.

Just wanna increase lifespan of halos is main goal...

Well their newest v2 halos are a lot better than their cob versions. More reliable. The resistors are external, vs internal so heat won't be the issue here.

I still have their v1 and it's constantly on. Their v2 is even more reliable and brighter

I ran mine to a separate on/off switch. I like them on in any mode I prefer. I think they look good running without the DTRL's...or with..:D
