    Thanks for the tip, I'll give it a try this weekend when I have some free time. I am hoping my solenoids aren't DOA, because I don't hear anything when I try to engage the highs beams.

    Anyone have a guide on wiring the halos? I fixed my halos, and I want them to be on with my DRL. When I turn on my lowbeams, I want them to be off. Also, when I turn my signals, I don't want them to blink when the low beams are on. It's fine if they are blinking with the DRL.

    Currently they blink when my low beams are on. When the DRL are running, it blinks after the orange.

    Any help is appreciated thanks

    They're here!!! :goingcrazy::bananadance:

    Sorry for the crappy phone pics, I was so damn excited I needed to get the shots of the things before I went to work! Install will have to wait a couple weeks though... Pics of them on when it's all done!

    Anyone heard out of @RAD lately?? I'm STILL trying to get my deal finished up with him. Going on a year now and I don't have properly functioning headlights!

    @sean266

    Seems to be more of the same with RAD.

    Last year he disappeared without fulfilling paid orders and this guy came back and blamed it on his partner.

    Now.. here we are again?

    Okay, personally, I had ZERO issues with @RAD. Got my lights installed a few days ago, and so far everything is working perfectly (knock on wood, of course - don't want to jinx myself now!) Even had some issues with the wiring in the install, and he helped me out within minutes of me texting him with questions about it, got it worked out what I was missing. Seem well sealed too, halos and demon eyes work perfectly and the projectors are awesome.

    Top is before the projectors, bottom is after...

    Sam, sorry the delay in response as Burt should be the one in contact with you in regards to figuring out what could've went wrong with your OEM Murano build. I am working with him in regards to finding a solution to your lights. However this is Burt's page and not RECHELON.

    So maybe a stupid question, but do Retrofitted headlights like these draw more power than the stock halogens? This Alaskan just got his PFD and is considering buying a pair after spending two years drooling over this thread. And yes I looked around and couldn't really find an exact answer

    That's actually a fantastic question we've never been asked. I'll dabble more into that for you as I don't want to provide an answer I am not 100% on.

    Thanks I appreciate it! Also how do these fair in cold weather? I'm guessing once they're all sealed up and an OEM housing is used it should be pretty comparable to normal OEM headlights

    On warm up, HID ballasts do draw more power. "Customers often ask, Do I really need a harness? Yes! A relay harness is designed to deliver steady voltage to your HID ballasts directly from the car battery. Nobody likes a flickering headlight, so why risk it? Factory headlight outputs are really only designed to power a halogen light bub, not an HID ballast." - TRS

    Cold weather is not a problem. The headlights are sealed as necessary to perform like OEM. Some headlights require extra venting to help equalize temperatures but it's never been a problem with the 2nd gen Tacoma.

    Okay, so a follow up question to this one... what's the power draw look like for the dual halos, as well as for the demon eyes? Curious to find out since I have no way of measuring that myself.

    Also, as a side note, my headlights are still doing freaking awesome! :yes:

    Power draw from LED halos and demon eye are very low. Less than 1 amp from what we have tested.

    That's right about what I figured, knew LED's weren't a huge draw. Thanks for the quick response!
