Holy crap how did you break it? At the corners? Those seem to look like the weakest points from what I can remember.

The good thing is I have spares. So it's not the end of the world either way. It broke at the thin point that goes over the big reflector bowl. Just "snapped" if you will.

All good man, I've got as long as it takes.

I'd say go for it on the matchbox but I don't know as much about it, performance wise or what shrouds work. I like the D2S and the Apollo due to the fact that it will fill out the light more. I don't like the look of the mini shroud in a big lens. Let me know, if a large shroud can be used and performance is not lost but gained I would be willing, but I don't think that'll be the case most likely ha.

Just let me know when they're getting close. Some progress pics would be cool. Thanks, man.

What he said. Datsik has them wired with the DTRL.

My latest "Datsik" retrofit. That's how I'll refer to it from now on since that's what everyone seems to like...

I know Burt. I also know you're extremely busy getting people's orders done and I didn't want to bug you. I also know if I swing by your place I will use my salesperson tactics to have you sell me the set you're getting done for someone else.
Burt, have you done any of the shrouds in a grey with the bhlm?

You are welcome to stop by, just need to call me first to set up a time.
I have not done a set in grey yet but all my shrouds and bezels are professionally painted - all I need is a paint code or sample. That's all. Satin finish, flat, clear - whatever.
