For those of you who have already upgraded their headlights....how are the halos holding up??
Also... How do passive colored demon eyes work... For instance... The red passive demon eyes that Jerez has...or RAD has..
Do they only appear red when the sun hits it in a certain direction??? Then how does the yellow light 4,300 or white light at 5,000 k work in conjunction with the red passive demon eyes... Do the normal lights come entirely from the halos???

    Thanks guys

I've only had my Halo/projectors a few months, so not sure how they are in the long run. The Halo's are independent of the projector headlights. You have many options in wiring them. Can run whenever the projectors are on, or like I did run a seperate switch just for the Halo's so you can use them in any light mode. The Halo's are bright but not enough to be used solely for night driving. Dawn or dusk good as well as DRL's OK. When they or if they ever go out, you'd have to bake the lights open and replace the Halo ring. The Halo rings should be good for around 50,000 hours from what I've read. That is if they're CCFL type, which I believe is what Burt is using? Correct me if I'm wrong on the type Burt...:D

2 weeks or less if you buy brand new OEM headlights.

Probably a bit longer if you want a used core. I should have some soon though

The passive colored demon eyes are simply the inside of the projector painted red. It can be seen at most angles. As for their appearance with the lights on, they do appear a light red. The output is not affected by the passive demon eye mod.

The halos are LED not CCFL. They are warrantied for 5 years against defects from TRS. You would need to bake and replace though.

With regards to longevity, keeping them cool is your best bet. Heat is the enemy when it comes to LEDs.
