Osram CBI are awesome you will love them. I up graded from Phillips 85122+ and haven looked back since.

If your question was to either get OEM or cheap aftermarket for a retro, then go with OEM, look at a few post above to see why. I dont understand your question any other way.

No one has black oems...either you have to but em from the dealer and black them out yourself or wait till I find out about these aftermarket ones I found out about yesterday. You still would have to open them up and black em out.

 

Im sure Ant could order the oem ones and black em out or retro them for you for a price...then you can sell your oems to the next guy.

 

but would they be as bright as oem?

 

BHLM doesn't affect output if thats what your wondering.

 

Its just the housing. .and they should be the same design as oem.

No worries jose. Buying an oem set will cost you around $600...then either do the bhlm/retrofit yourself or pay this cat to do it for ya.

Just headlights, havent seen any black ones after market. it's really not hard to do, just take your time man. If you have money and a second car though, send Ant yours and tell him what you want, look on theretrofitsource.com , options are endless, but if you are paying, might as well go FX-R. There is a group buy going on to save 25%. I got the TYC for $138 each, but they are bad, melting signal reflector and lenses sucked.
