    How much for that set? I have a mini retrofit in some cheap oem replacements and looking to take them out and put into my OEM housings sometime soon. But I've never been able to get a set to "seal" right after i open them

    Ant, have you seen or worked with the new capa certified 2012+ headlights from TYC? Trying to figure out the quality of these things before buying and retro-ing em.

    I think both of us ran into the same issue with them. The DTRL reflector melts on the TYC.

    Yup, the DTRL on the 2012+ lights were a hit and miss.

    I didnt know they have three grades of housing.... why not just 1 certified one? Now i just think TYC is a load of crap! Knowingly producing crap products

    Well, I havent gotten the pricing on the capa ones...im assuming theyre a bit more expensive than the other ones. Hence, the different grades of products. Insurance companies want the capa certs going on repairs...joe schmoe wants a cheaper set out of pocket.
    anyways, Ant...shoot me a pm so I know roughly how much your retro services cost and what the estimated turnaround time would be.

    I may just but the cheaper tycs, take them apart and use the lens off my oem since only the tabs are broken....all I really need is the rear housing.
