    probably see my pics this weekend :)

    i've torn 2 pairs of headlights the other weekend and modified the bowl already... It's just waiting for someone to order before i paint (if needed) and mount the projectors..

    I have about 3 more pairs that i need to do the same so i can get ahead of the orders

    which one did you use?? I hear 3m works reallly really really well..

    How did the clamps work out for you when resealing the headlight back together?


    Any idea of the size of hole I need to make in the reflector to mount the FX-R projector and Gatlingun shroud? I know I will need to trim the shroud a little for a custom fit.

    clamps? they work perfectly fine.

    as for the hole, i dont go by a certain size although if i remember correctly ppl use 2 inch? theres a groove/pattern that i go by when making the hole for the projectors...

    as far as the shroud goes, i trim the inner ring so it can sit flushed with the projectors ... at least as much as it can... i also use the black shroud rings to help give it a snug fit onto the projectors... dont depend on that snuggness to keep the shroud on the projector... i add JB weld

    Any thoughts on securing the CCFL ring on the inside of the shroud? I could always drill holes in the side of the shroud and secure the ring with fishing line. The on-Line install guide shows this method securing the CCFL to the front exterior of the shroud.
