Brand new, never installed. GMF/@Arcticelf bolt on rear shock relocate kit for 2nd/3rd Gen Tacomas.

Complete info on this product can be found in this thread.
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...elocate-for-2nd-3rd-gen-ready-to-ship.691150/

Kit was never installed nor mocked up and includes all hardware. Because I was being fickle, I went a different direction for the rear suspension.

Ratty rattle can paint job was done by yours truly. Save $25 because of that.

    $300/shipped to the lower 48. AK/HI extra.

I think it was discussed in that original thread but these relocate products allows for the installation of shocks with more travel (+4‐5in ?) versus stock. That extra shock travel can be beneficial for all types of offroad activities (crawling, bombing, etc) afaik.

Longer rear shocks let you get the most out of whatever spring pack you're running. Which spring pack you choose is based on what you're going to use the truck for and your driving style.

ETA: There are two differences between this kit and the others on the market: 1) it's bolt on so you don't need a welder or a friend with a welder 2) the shock mounts about 2" higher so the bottom of the shock is in line with the axle to clear rocks better.

so the one that is posted is the bolt on one correct? Also I’ve done a lot of mods on the truck but nothing major yet on the side of the chassis. I just to be sure on my next step of upgrades. I really appreciate all the info tho. Thank you!

Nice! Those are great down travel numbers for SOA and with how the shock mounts are configured on the axle that thing has great rock clearance as well. Thanks for sharing pics!

I designed them around the "standard" aftermarket SOA leaf packs: dakar, AP, etc. Because you can adjust the axle tab placement getting the shock to clear the U-bolt plate and tire and frame is relatively easy, although if you have a cheap Amazon U-bolt flip plate it may need the corner trimmed off (ask me how I know:).

They should work just fine with a SUA too, although I haven't tested that.

If you're doing a 63" swap or other big changes to spring hanger geometry this setup may require a little bit of modification to work, but if you're taking on a project like that the shock hoop will be the easy part.
