saw this on Shanes truck, been lusting over it ever since. Whats the issue with the weight? Trying to wrap my head around my justification for wanting it.

 

It’s 350-400 lbs and I’m moving to Jersey where there isn’t much opportunity for last minute camping trips like here. All trips will be planned out so it’s easy to just toss the tent on when I want to go but normally just drive around with just the shell. Here in San Diego I didn’t mind because it just always stayed loaded for a trip.

Wish I was financially in a place to buy this right now, but paying off debt takes priority. Curious though, can you leave any bedding in the tent for these or does it not fit at all?

 

Minimal with the padding installed, I pulled the padding and was using a Exped Megamat that fit in the gained space
